Sita Sings the Blues is a beautiful animation that tells the story of an ancient tragedy and a modern comedy. It is an interpretation of the Indian epic Ramayana. The vocals are by jazz singer Annette Hanshaw from the 1920’s. This is a full length movie (1hr 20mins), so you will have to watch it in chapters. I am posting the first chapter…enjoy!
